People are like dirt. They can either nourish you and help you grow as a person or they can stunt your growth and make you wilt and die.
my blog will make you smile ♡
(…) For example, gay people. If you talk to a narrow-minded, ignorant Catholic, the only response or comment you’ll get is “They are an abominiation.” Now, how the hell can you possibly sit there and tell me to love everybody and then pick and choose which ones are worthy of that love? How can you justify that “It says so in the Bible, so it must be wrong” If theres also a story about a 400 year old man named Moses climbing up a mountian to recieve tablets from the sky that has been proven to be a story of faith and faith only, not fact. How can you tell me that God is good and knows what he’s doing when he creates a person the way they are when you’re telling these poor people that God didn’t do it, that it was their CHOICE to be gay? How can you judge someone when you’ve never been in their position? Do you honestly think for one minute that if they could’ve CHOSEN to be gay that they would’ve? So they could be tourtured and constantly mocked all their lives? Not only that, It has been SCIENTIFICALLY proven that it is not a choice but a hormonal imbalance in the brain? I think thats a new section of your catechism you have to rewrite thanks to science. Seriously guys, we live in a new world where people aren’t afraid to be who they are anymore, not in a new world where people are living with the wrong ideals and values (although there are plenty that do). People are finally realizing that it’s okay to be different, you just have to keep up and get over the fact that this religion was made up THOUSANDS of years ago and times HAVE changed significantly. Do us all a favor and keep your judgments to yourself. I am a Catholic because I believe in loving and seeing the good in everyone, not so I can excercise my right to judge others for their mistakes or choices in life.
So great to see Christina back!
SEPHORA HOT NOW VOLUME 6: STILA AFTERGLOW LIP COLOR
Ultraviolet lips that really get the party started.
“We demo-ed this and we were blown away,” says Sephora Head Merchant Margarita Arriagada of Stila’s new blacklight-activated lip color. “Other than nails, we haven’t really seen anything that glows in the dark like this. It has a great punch of color for daytime or night, and it’s buildable and long lasting. It went great with our Sweet 15 campaign and the festival timing. Try one color on the top lip and another on the bottom!”
